Her debut album "La virsta de 3 ani" will be released in Canada and the US. Cleopatra seems to be a prodigy, as at the age of 3, not only could she sing, but she could read and write very well.

Iun 02O lume minunata/ in care vom gasi/ nu-maai cooo-piiii Postat in WeTube, Miscelanoase, PROstalgia at 12:38 pm de Dorothea Ionescu Am gasit pe protv.ro un film de 7 minute, pe care l-am vizionat integral si mi-a si placut. Exceptand fragmentul cu pozele de la gradinita ale vedetelor din Pache, care nu stiu ce rost aveau (in care fragment Nicoleta Luciu le mai si intrece, ca o vedem nud in frageda pruncie) si secventa cu Cleopatra Stratan, care mi s-a parut prea lunga si demonetizata pentru ineditul celorlalte imagini - filmul sta in picioare. Mi-a adus aminte de o gramada de lucruri: de cum am fost io copil in comunism vs cum sunt copiii mei, copii in post-comunism, de Occident (filmul lui Mungiu), de vremurile cand faceam fapte la PRO TV, de gradina bunicilor si casa lor demolata de buldozer, in fata mea. Una peste alta, e bun de vazut. Enjoy!

Cea mai tanara cantareata din Romania, Cleopatra Stratan (4 ani) a incheiat recent filmarile la videoclipul 'Numar pana la 1', acesta fiind al doilea din cariera sa. Muzica si versurile melodiei cu care fetita vrea sa sparga topurile verii sunt scrise de tatal ei, Pavel Stratan. Filmarile pentru videoclip s-au facut intr-o singura zi, in Parcul Bazilescu, din cartierul Bucurestii Noi. Aflata la Chisinau, micuta vedeta a marturisit ca asteapta cu nerabdare concediul, pe care il va petrece alaturi de parintii ei, pe litoralul Marii Negre.
Ea a fost singura artista muzicala careia nu i-am descarcat nici o melodie (DC++,siteuri muzica) ci i-am cumparat albumul(mai mult pentru soramea) pentru ca chiar merita sa fie rasplatita pentru eforturile ei.

Cleopatra Stratan (born 2003), daughter of Moldovan-Romanian singer, Pavel Stratan, is one of the youngest people ever to score commercial success as a singer, with her 2006 album La varsta de trei ani ("At the age of 3".
Pavel Stratan, father of Cleopatra, was in a studio recording a song and as 3 years old Cleopatra was hanging around the studio. One time she grabbed a microphone and started singing the song along Pavel. Everybody was so stunned that they ended up recording the song with Cleopatra as main vocals rather than Pavel. The song was "Mama" (mother). After that Cleopatra recorded several other songs, basically a full album, and had some concerts as well. She is amazing on the stage as well as in studio. Some suggest that as she is younger than Shirley Temple, she should go in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest talent ever (3 years old) to perform on stage, have her own album and already record several videos. In Romania, Moldova, and also around the world there seems to be growing a tremendous fan base. La vārsta de trei ani ("At the age of 3" was a platinum disk in the summer of 2006 in Romania. As of 2006, Cleopatra's biggest hit is the song "Ghita".

http://mayumablog.weblog.ro/2007-08-02/ ... ratan.html Azi am ascultat sau mai bine spus am privit pe you tube toate melodiile existente ale lui Pavel Stratan şi video clipurile Cleopatrei, micul fenomen al muzicii pop care a cucerit Japonia, şi mai nou şi Coreea de Sud. Fenomenul Stratan are cāteva implicaţii culturale, īn primul rānd cred că versurile melodiilor sunt superbe, chiar şi concepţia are ceva din filmele suprarealiste ale lui Luis Bunuel, e un amestec de absurd şi umor, şi sunt cāntate īntr-o limbă moldovenească extraordinară, cu accente tari, care creează un aer de īnstrăinare şi un efect ciudat. Eu simt şi ceva urme din Vāsoţki, marele cantautor rus care nu avea cum să nu-l influenţeze pe Pavel. Cel mai mult mi-a plăcut cel despre tatăl pierdut, Visul, pe care l-aş compara cu poemul lui Tudor Arghezi, De-a v-aţi ascuns, un poem superb despre o plecare şi despre o īntālnire imposibilă. Aştept de la familia Stratan alte mari succese muzicale, e drept că primul succes internaţional a fost al altei formaţii de peste Prut, calea a fost deschisă de Zdob şi zdup, au urmat cei de la O Zone, cu Dragostea din tei, care a rămas īn topuri cāteva săptămāni şi au vāndut un milion de discuri īn Japonia, după ce melodia lor a fost preluată de o trupă locală de băieţi cam fără voce, de cei de la Smap, o clonă după Back Street Boys. Probabil că mica Cleo va continua seria de succese şi sper să o vedem mai des, deşi īn perioada următoare va fi plecată prin toată Europa. Pentru că deocamdată nu există o a doua Cleopatra īn Europa şi noi trebuie să ne māndrim cu ea. Că visează şi cāntă īn limba romānă.
